Spirituality

Spiritual development is a key focus at St. Raymond School.  Our students have opportunities, not just in religion class, but through a variety of activities, to explore and develop their faith.  Catholic tradition and prayer are important part of our identity.

Excellence

For over 50 years St Raymond has produced students who have gone on to become vibrant leaders in their schools and communities. These students take with them the tools and knowledge to not only excel in the most demanding of academic settings- but also the morals and faithfulness to the teachings of the Church to put such successes in their proper context in today’s society.

Essence

The Essence of St Raymond School is a holistic view that an education is not only academic, but a comprehensive and robust curriculum that spans all disciplines of  the arts , sciences and humanities. In addition, a rich spiritual component is critical to the moral and ethical development of our students.

News and Information

Congratulations to the students, parents, and faculty who participated in the Homeboy Industries 5 K on Saturday, October 18th. This school-wide community service project was a great display of service and support for an agency that does an importance service to Los Angeles.

St. Raymond School will be adding a Transitional Kindergarten class in August of 2015. This is an exciting opportunity for students to gain an additional year of instruction to ensure that every student who graduates from St. Raymond School demonstrates an understanding of Gospel values, embodies the mission and philosophy of St. Raymond School, and achieves mastery in all CCSS academic areas of focus.

The St. Raymond choir has already sung at two Sunday masses this year. We are very proud of our choir as they sing and serve the Lord. The choir practices every Monday and Wednesday from 3pm - 4pm. If you are interested in joining the choir, please contact Ms. Cheng.

Thank you in advance for remembering to take caution during morning drop-off and after school pick-up.  Parents are asked to enter from the Quoit Gate only and exit onto Paramount Ave. with a right turn only.  For further details please reference page 29 of the Parent-Student Handbook.
